HGV Class 1 Drivers - Immediate Starts

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Contract Duration: Immediate start through to January 2026

We are recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a major logistics operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent work with competitive pay rates and a modern fleet, running through the busy peak season and into the new year.

Role Overview

Start Times: Preferred between 02:00 and 05:00 (flexible scheduling available)

Duties: Store deliveries and collections

Manual Handling: Use of manual pump trucks or electric pallet trucks (EPT) - full training provided

Fleet: Modern Volvo and Mercedes vehicles, including single and double deck trailers

Experience: Ideally 2 years of Class 1 driving experience, though all applications will be considered

Working Hours & Pay Rates

Core Days: Monday to Friday (limited weekend work)

Shift Options:

- Day Shift (06:00-16:00): £17.18 per hour
- Afternoon Shift (16:00-22:00): £18.90 per hour
- Night Shift (22:00-06:00): £20.62 per hour

Bank Holidays: Paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate

Peak Season Incentive

Drivers who complete all scheduled shifts throughout December will receive a £150 bonus, payable in the first week of January 2026.
