What does the job look like?

Join our West Melbourne Workshop as a permanent, full-time Welder on the afternoon shift and play a vital role in the safety and upkeep of our fleet. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills, enjoy work/life balance and become part of an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

- Perform container and structural repairs to Linfox equipment
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as required
- Report damage and safety issues to maintain operational standards
- Uphold Linfox’s commitment to safety, including Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements
- Complete all allocated tasks within set timeframes
- Maintain high standards of equipment presentation

Are you the one?

We are seeking a qualified welder who is safety-conscious and detail-oriented, ready to join a strong, collaborative team. You can demonstrate:

- Recognised trade qualification and experience as a Welder
- A strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- The ability to organise tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Ability to meet Linfox’s pre-employment requirements, including a medical and police check
- A forklift licence (desirable, but not essential)
