What does the job look like?

Join our West Melbourne Workshop as a permanent, full-time Welder on the afternoon shift and play a vital role in the safety and upkeep of our fleet. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills, enjoy work/life balance and become part of an experienced team.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform container and structural repairs to Linfox equipment
  • Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as required
  • Report damage and safety issues to maintain operational standards
  • Uphold Linfox's commitment to safety, including Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements
  • Complete all allocated tasks within set timeframes
  • Maintain high standards of equipment presentation
Are you the one?

We are seeking a qualified welder who is safety-conscious and detail-oriented, ready to join a strong, collaborative team. You can demonstrate:

  • Recognised trade qualification and experience as a Welder
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety standards
  • The ability to organise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
  • Ability to meet Linfox's pre-employment requirements, including a medical and police check
  • A forklift licence (desirable, but not essential)
