About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Estimator with experience across engineering and construction projects to join our team in Adelaide. The main function of this role is managing bids/proposals, developing and maintaining the estimating database, evaluation of contractor tender costs and preparation of tender estimates with input (as required) from other Engineering and Construction departments.

About you

Ideally, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary DnC, EPC and EPCM projects
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A demonstrated understanding of the project phases from design to commissioning
- Relevant experience in a project or design engineering team in a greenfield and brownfield environment
- Proven knowledge of the estimating process from start to completion for multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects
- Ability to prepare top down and bottom up estimates
- Preparation of detailed project delivery schedules in MS Project for Engineering and Construction projects
- Participate (where required) in tender site walkthroughs to gather first-hand information in order to prepare tenders
- An ability to use a variety of specialised estimating tools, potentially bringing your own to the role
- Confidence in sourcing suppliers and understanding materials, labour and equipment pricing across the Adelaide area and national market
- Experience in preparing, liaising, evaluating and delivering submissions for tenders and projects
- Experience in contract reviews, risk profiling and allocation in accordance with governance profile, tender negotiations, support to executive, BD teams and Operations
