We are looking for a high performing Senior Policy Officer to join the Policy and Engagement – Adult Mental Health team, Mental Health Branch, NSW Ministry of Health to lead the development of a revised NSW Health Guideline for Sexual Safety for Mental Health Consumers.

About the role
As a Senior Policy Officer, you will use your skills to lead the development of a revised NSW Health Guideline for Sexual Safety for Mental Health Consumers; and support other policy projects within the team, such as eating disorders, physical health and reducing restrictive practices.
While this is a short-term role to focus on this piece of work, there may be an opportunity for an ongoing role in the team.
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $129,464 - $142,665 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading.
35 hour working week (with potential for Part Time option if preferred)
Day to day responsibilities can include:
- Project management.
- Reviewing and updating Guideline.
- Researching and synthesising information.
- Written advice including briefs to support strategic decision making.
- Stakeholder engagement and consultation.
- Reporting and governance.
