Senior Project Manager - Building Division | Defence & Infrastructure Projects

Location: Darwin, NT

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 + Super (negotiable)

Employment Type: Permanent

A highly regarded national construction contractor is seeking two experienced Senior Project Managers to oversee upcoming Defence refurbishment based in Darwin.

These roles will suit professionals with strong tenure, proven delivery standards, and a background working with Tier 1 or large Tier 2 builders. You'll be responsible for leading complex projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and commercial outcomes are met.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and deliver multi-million-dollar building projects across Defence and infrastructure sectors

- Manage project planning, budgeting, and reporting from design to handover

- Oversee site teams and subcontractors to ensure program, quality, and safety standards are achieved

- Drive process improvement and identify opportunities for performance optimisation

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders

About You

- Minimum 8-10 years' project management experience in commercial construction

- Proven background with Tier 1 or large Tier 2 builders

- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end delivery of major projects

- Excellent communication, commercial acumen, and leadership skills

- Motivated, organised, and passionate about driving successful outcomes
