HSS is a Western Australian Government agency providing shared services to the state’s public health system, including financial, ICT, procurement and supply, and workforce services to more than 65,000 employees across WA’s public health services and hospitals. Position title and location are as follows: Director Strategy — Perth, WA. This is a permanent appointment within Transformation and Strategy.

Salary: HSO Level G12; $191,923 per annum.

Your new role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person for the role of Director, Strategy.

This role is a permanent appointment and, as a member of Transformation and Strategy, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the HSS strategic planning process, monitoring, reporting and review cycles with the HSS Board and HSS Executive, and working with senior leaders to drive alignment to HSS’ strategy and broader WA Health and Government strategy.
- Identifying and analysing trends, emerging issues, risks and opportunities impacting HSS’ strategy and providing strategic advice on their management; coordinating HSS’ response to WA Health & Government reviews, strategies, policies or other priorities.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of HSS’s sustainability capability, framework, action plan and associated initiatives.
- Ensuring the organisation remains aligned to its operating model principles, as custodian of the HSS Operating Model.
- Conducting research and applying insights to further develop HSS’ capabilities.
