[Immediate Start] Director Strategy

Overview

Health Support Services (HSS) Transformation and Strategy is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person for the role of Director, Strategy. This is a permanent appointment.

Your new role

As a member of Transformation and Strategy, the Director Strategy will be responsible for:

- Leading the HSS strategic planning process, and monitoring, reporting and review cycle, with the HSS Board and HSS Executive, and working with senior leaders to drive alignment to HSS’ strategy and broader customer, WA Health organisational government strategy.
- Identifying and analysing trends and emerging issues, risks and opportunities impacting on HSS’ strategy and providing strategic advice on the management of these. This includes leading the coordination of HSS’ response to WA Health organisational government reviews, strategies, policies or other priorities/actions.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of HSS’s sustainability capability, framework, action plan and associated initiatives.
- Ensuring the organisation remains aligned to its operating model principles, as custodian of the HSS Operating Model.
- Conducting research and applying insights to further develop HSS’ capabilities.
