The Opportunity
We are seeking applications from experienced and driven Lead Control Systems Engineers to join our growing team in Gladstone. This role offers the chance to work in a progressive environment that values innovation, professional development, and a balanced lifestyle. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to define project requirements and scope
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of robust control system solutions
- Ensure project deliverables meet high standards of quality and are completed on time
- Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to clients
- Promote and uphold a strong culture of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ)
Experience and Skills
- Background in infrastructure or heavy industrial sectors
- Strong client engagement and communication abilities
- Proven leadership and team collaboration skills
- Experience in control system architecture, design, and development
- Project management expertise including planning and scheduling
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex engineering projects
Qualifications and Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in technical design across diverse control system platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and commitment to continuous learning
- High attention to quality and detail
- Safety-focused mindset with practical problem-solving capabilities
