McCosker Contracting has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team. This position is based on a project site located in Gladstone, Queensland.

- Immediate start

This position will provide effective engineering support to the project team to achieve completion of contracted works in accordance with project and client requirements. This role will be responsible for coordinating project programming, reporting, and controls within timeframes, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

To be successful you will have:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering or relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of civil construction standards, legislation, and associated practices
- Experience in project management and implementing client programs
- Able to liaise, mediate, and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Expertise in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Experience in developing and implementing quality programs and controls
- Expertise in communication, including developing project documents and reports
- Experienced in MS Office and P6/Project Management Systems (beginner to intermediate)
