Key responsibilities
Work closely with supervisors, managers, and partners to provide high-quality professional services to a diverse client base.
Assist in the training and development of junior staff.
Lead projects and manage clients, leveraging your passion for making a meaningful impact.
Prepare financial reports/statements, and supporting schedules;
Prepare Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trust and partnerships;
Assist with virtual CFO engagements and other advisory work as required;
Administer GST, including Business Activity Statements;
Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required; and
Conduct studies and analysis of financial matters as required.
What you need to apply
- Proactive and Independent: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work autonomously to meet deadlines.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MYOB/Xero and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in public practice, specialising in tax and business services.
- Qualifications: Completed or near completion of CA/CPA certification.
