About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with our specialty retail partners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, providing excellent customer service, conducting sales analysis, and ensuring that our brand's presence is strong and aligned with the vision of each retail partner. You will be instrumental in expanding our brand’s market share in North America, driving sales growth, ensuring smooth execution of brand initiatives across multiple channels, and enhancing our retail partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships within assigned and potential specialty retail accounts across the US, Canada and Mexico, including premium beauty chains, department stores, and pure players.

- Sales Growth: Develop and execute omni-channel strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned accounts. Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet goals.

- Forecasting and Planning: Provide accurate retail sales forecasting and demand planning to cross functional partners for both regular flow business and category/product expansion

- Sales Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities, monitor progress against sales targets, and optimize account strategies. Key KPIs: sales to target, retailer P&L, forecasting accuracy

- Product Education & Training: Provide product training and brand education to retail partners, ensuring they are equipped to sell and promote our products effectively.

- Merchandising: Work closely with retailers to ensure optimal product placement, visual merchandising, and in-store promotions. Collaborate on planograms and sales floor strategy.

- Marketing & Promotions: Support the execution of marketing initiatives, promotions, and new product launches to drive traffic and sales in retail locations.

- Customer Service: Address any client concerns or issues promptly, ensuring that all retail partners have a positive and seamless experience with our company.

- Market Intelligence: Gather feedback from accounts, stay informed about industry trends, and identify opportunities for growth within your accounts. Report insights to the sales and marketing teams.

- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and operations, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

- Travel: Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and support in-store promotions, events, and trainings.

Qualifications

- 3-5+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the beauty industry or specialty retail, experience with Ulta or Sephora preferred.

- Proven track record of managing key retail accounts and driving sales growth.

- Strong understanding of the beauty industry, including trends, products, and customer preferences.

- Experience with sales analysis, interpreting data, and adjusting strategies to optimize performance.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively while staying organized and detail oriented.

- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 10+ days per month).

- Passion for the beauty industry and enthusiasm for supporting the growth of both Coco & Eve and Loving Tan brands
