We are currently seeking applications from experienced BlastHole Drillers for a permanent and ongoing DIDO Full-Time 4/5/5/4/5/5 lifestyle roster position at our Callide Project located in the Biloela region.

Job duties

- Operating our REICH drill C700 and C750 platform drill rigs
- Accurately checking the quality and depth of drill holes and recording ground conditions that may affect blasting
- Maintaining a clean and tidy rig and reporting/addressing any maintenance faults
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards regular and reliable drill metres, rig utilisation and consumables usage
- Provide neat and complete associated documentation for drill reports, pre-starts etc
- Regularly use safety tools such as JHA's and Take 5's
- Be willing to be trained across a variety of drill rigs in the fleet and show an adaptable attitude
- Willingness to assist nearby projects and learn and assist blast crew on drill & blast projects

Experience and qualifications sought

- Experience using platform rotary drill rigs
- Previous experience in Blast Hole Drilling in Black Coal mining
- Australian Driver Licence
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- RII for Blast Hole Drilling - RIIBHD301D/E
- RII for Vehicle Loading Crane (preferred but not essential)
- RII for Conduct Lifting Operations (preferred but not essential)

Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment medical assessments including a drug and alcohol screen.
