Job Description

- Oversee the financial operations of several property portfolios
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
- Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations
- Conduct financial analyses and present findings to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes
- Act as a financial liaison between property managers and investors
- Maintain updated knowledge of property market trends
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff, reviewing work and providing guidance on best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Property Accountant should have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Profound knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Experience in managing financial operations in the property industry
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in using financial software and databases
- Management and mentoring experience
