Lumus Imaging is currently seeking an experienced CT / General Radiographer to take on the role of Radiographer In Charge of two clinics in Brisbane, Indooroopilly and Oxley. Both clinics have CT, general x-ray, OPG and Sonography. Indooroopilly offers a co-located Urgent Care facility with a high-volume, varied caseloads and a state-of-the-art Siemens MAMMOMAT B mammography unit.

In this position, you will oversee the daily operational services at the site, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality and efficient imaging service for both patients and referrers. You will also provide leadership and guidance to the staff under your supervision.

It is expected that a Radiographer In Charge at this level will continue in their technical role in conjunction with their administrative role, requiring a thorough understanding of all modalities within the site.

This position is offered on a Full-Time basis working 38 hours per week. The role will spend majority of time in our larger Indooroopilly clinic and remainder of time in our Oxley clinic.

Our Oxley clinic is open Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 4.30pm and Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm.

Indooroopilly is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 8:00pm, Saturday 10:30am – 2:30pm for outpatients and on-call services until 8:00pm and Sunday on-call services from 10:00am to 8:00pm.

Your duties

- Contribute to Company KPIs and regional KPIs through effective management of expenditure and resources (including staff).
- Ensure operational efficiency of the site (clerical, technical and radiologist) and implement directives from State/National levels.
- Admin and clerical management (including IT).
- People management at their sites and escalation of staffing requirements with relevant information to the Operations Manager.
- Recruiting and selecting staff in accordance with company procedures.
- Identifying, arranging, or conducting training requirements for the site and individuals.
- Monitoring and managing staff performance (probation and performance reviews).
- Monitoring remuneration and professional development of staff and advising the Operations Manager of recommendations.

Requirements

- Senior CT/General Radiographer or Imaging Manager with a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience.
- Cardiac CT and CT protocol building experience is advantageous.
- Full-time position with standard and flexible working hours.
- Proven problem-solving and organizational multitasking abilities.
- Previous management experience is advantageous.
- Mammography skill set desirable but not essential (upskilling/training offered).
