Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, or related field.

- 3–5 years of HR management experience preferred. Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or service-oriented business is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of BC labour and employment standards, and health & safety regulations.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.

- Preference will be given to candidates with an interest and/or experience with social media marketing: creating content, managing platforms, employer branding, etc.

Duties

- Oversee the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.

- Manage employee records.

- Assist with payroll and benefit plans.

- Ensure compliance with BC employment law, OH&S, and internal policies.

- Act as a resource regarding HR policies, conflict resolution, and performance issues.

- Develop HR strategies to improve retention, engagement, and professional growth.

- Lead or support training programs, scheduling, and team development/staff meetings.

- Social media marketing: preferred

- Support the Practice Owners with administrative and operational projects.
