About the role:

Are you passionate about supporting individuals through challenging times and helping them find hope and strength in recovery? Anglicare CQ is seeking a compassionate and proactive Support Facilitator to join our team and deliver life‑changing support through The Way Back Support Service.

You will work closely with individuals who have experienced a suicidal crisis or attempt, offering timely, trauma‑informed, and recovery‑oriented support.

What will a typical day look like?

- Collaborate with participants and their support networks to provide sustained, strengths‑based care.

- Deliver timely, trauma‑informed, and recovery‑oriented care aligned with Way Back Service principles.

- Advocate for and facilitate referrals to community‑based services tailored to individual needs.

- Collaborate with the Clinical Lead to develop tools and processes that enhance service delivery.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Diploma level qualifications in a Mental Health related field.

- A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.

Other Requirements:

- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption).

- Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice).
