We are looking for PPT roles with most shifts from 11.30am-6pm
Responsibilities
- Be the fun facilitator: You/'ll help residents explore their interests, both within the care home and beyond. From art classes and gardening clubs to day trips and movie nights, you/'ll make sure there/'s something for everyone.
- Social butterfly extraordinaire: Whether it/'s a lively game of bingo or a quiet chat over afternoon tea, you/'ll be the friendly face who connects residents and fosters a sense of belonging.
- More than just activities: You/'ll be a supportive companion, assisting with daily living like mealtimes and outings, and offering emotional support to those with cognitive impairment or mental health needs.
- Resident champion: Your voice matters You/'ll gather feedback through surveys and family conferences to ensure activities truly hit the mark.
- Team player: You/'ll collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and escalate any concerns.
- Catering crewmate: You/'ll lend a hand with plating and serving meals, adhering to food safety standards and monitoring resident preferences.
- Hygiene hero: Keeping things clean and safe is essential. You/'ll follow infection control protocols and maintain a tidy environment.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential.
- Current Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support or willingness to complete
- First Aid Certificate (or willing to get one)
- Australian driver/'s licence
