The role
Based in Sydney, you’ll lead and manage some of our most important social media creative projects and client relationships across APAC.
As a Social Creative lead, you’ll work on social creative projects from briefing through to final delivery – bringing social creative strategy, client service and project management skills to ensure creative excellence, fast turnarounds and a seamless experience for our key partners (Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest and Amazon) and Enterprise clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead social creative projects for our Enterprise clients and advertisers within our ongoing partnership programs with Meta, Pinterest, Google, TikTok and Amazon
- Assist with client briefing and creative strategy, providing input into the approach, initial concepts and broader strategy to drive campaign performance
- Assist clients with finding the right social creators/influencers for creator campaigns, and the right creative partners from within Genero’s creative network
- Provide strategic and creative input to elevate ideas, craft and content best practices to ensure we’re delivering impactful creative and campaigns that perform
- Stay ahead of cultural, platform and creative trends, bringing fresh thinking and insights to pitches and briefs
- Deliver excellence in client service and build, nurture and grow relationships with key clients and partners
- Identify opportunities and contribute ideas to improve our social creative offering, platform, tools and processes for clients and creators
- Participate in workshops that bring marketers, creators and media partners together
- As a key part of our APAC team (which includes Sydney & Singapore), you’ll also collaborate with global colleagues to share insights, surface opportunities and support cross-market success
- Cross-regional collaboration with social teams and creative leads from our other regional teams (US, Latin America and Europe)
The role offers flexible hybrid working, combining remote work with in-person collaboration.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications, or equivalent practical experience to demonstrate the necessary expertise required
- 6+ years’ experience in social media/marketing roles within client-side marketing teams agencies or media platforms
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end social video creative projects, including working extensively with and managing creators/influencers
- A portfolio of past work that demonstrates creative strategy, storytelling and execution across digital and video platforms
- Deep understanding of social and digital campaign and platform-native content best-practice across platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest
- Experience working with marketers in large brands, either client side or within an agency or media environment
- Proven ability to deliver results under pressure with a client service mindset
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication and people leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
- A strong network of existing relationships within media platform partners and Enterprise marketing teams in Australia is a plus
