The role
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team to accelerate the delivery and improve the quality of the software we build.
In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing testing infrastructure, automating tests, and accelerating product development by helping developers help themselves. You will be part of a team and work across major aspects of the ServiceM8 software and platform, and report to ServiceM8’s CTO.

- Analyze and decompose complicated software systems and design strategies to test these systems.
- Conduct application performance and security testing.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and tools.
- Conduct load and performance testing to identify system bottlenecks.
- Stay up to date with relevant new and emerging technologies, and identify and promote opportunities to make use of these technologies.
- Work with product managers to craft user story acceptance criteria.
To be the right fit for this role, you’ll need to have:
- Experience with open source automated testing frameworks like Selenium.
- Experience with iOS Testing frameworks (XCTest, XCUI).
- Experience with back-end testing.
- Basic knowledge of Objective-C/Swift.
- A shared belief in our values.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of PHP.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience working with Docker containers.
- Experience with Continuous Integration systems (e.g. GitLab).
What we offer
