Account Manager – Automotive

Join a global leader in the automotive aftermarket sector as an Account Manager, based in Southeast Melbourne. In this permanent, full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the growth of the Australian business, working within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

You will provide expert technical advice and product recommendations as needed. You will educate and demonstrate the product, understand customer needs, and deliver innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience in the automotive world and a sales/account background. Experience as a mechanic, working with vehicle manufacturers or dealerships in trade parts, is highly regarded.

What You Will Do

- Build strong relationships and nurture opportunities.

- Product presentations, education and demonstration to clients

- Lead marketing strategy for continued growth.

- Present growth strategies to senior leadership.

- Drive marketing projects for trade fairs within Australia

What You Need to Have

- Must have working rights in Australia

- Must have good verbal and written skills

- 3+ years of automotive industry experience

- Presentation skills
