Responsibilities

- Execute column and collar drill holes with precision drilling, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
- Maintain meticulous daily drill logs, perform pre-start checks, and manage time sheets efficiently.
- Cultivate a safety-centric approach while surpassing production forecasts.
- Regularly utilize safety tools such as Take 5 assessments and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Maintaining rigs in impeccable condition, ensuring they are clean, organized, and primed for operation.
- Diligent reporting of maintenance issues and meticulous record-keeping of consumables.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in blast hole drilling operations or a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
- Possession of a Certificate III in Drilling Operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Sandvik DPi or Pantera rigs is preferred.
- Proven track record of thriving in remote work environments.
- Ability to obtain national police check clearance and possess a current Australian Open Class Manual Drivers License.
