Responsibilities

- Teach Visual Art 7-12 and, where appropriate, Photography, Digital Media and Video 9-12.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management to promote a supportive and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate within a team to develop differentiated programs and maximise student engagement and achievement.
- Contribute to the development of effective teaching strategies and writing skills, aligned to HSC preparation and school priorities.

Qualifications & Selection Criteria

- Approval to teach Visual Art 7-12 and willingness to teach Photography, Digital Media and Video 9-12.
- Evidence of effective classroom management to promote a supportive and positive learning environment.
- Demonstrated capacity to work within a team to support the development of differentiated programs, with a focus on maximising student engagement and achievement.

Conditions

- An unconditional full approval to teach is required.
- If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this opportunity.

Remuneration

Total Remuneration Package: up to $151,704.00. Base salary ranges from $87,550.00 to $133,846.00, plus leave loading and employer’s superannuation contributions. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.
