Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Established over fifteen years ago, we are a growing Melbourne headquartered Software Consultancy with a core focus of delivering business-critical digital products to our clients. Our teams work alongside our customers to dissect their complex problems and convert them into value-driven solutions, combining innovative principles in development, design, analysis and quality automation. We utilise Design Thinking and Agile practices to rapidly create customer and business first software, testing and embracing new technologies and trends along the way.

Fabric Group is growing rapidly over the past few years and we'll maintain this pace to meet the needs of business growth in the upcoming years. We are in the phase of
building our Talent Acquisition team which will be able to provide strong support on
meeting business needs through hiring talented people with great technical skills.

We are now looking for an Human Resources Business Partner who will provide strategic HR advice and support to ensure that HR practices align with business goals. Your focus will be on recruitment, talent acquisition, employee life cycle management, and ensuring a positive workplace culture, from hiring to development and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Support:
-Provide expert HR advice in areas including recruitment, employee performance, and workplace relations.
-Collaborate with business leaders to implement HR hiring strategies that align with the company's goals and improve overall operational efficiency.
-Support business transformation by offering HR insights and assisting with workforce planning to meet evolving organisational needs.

Employee Relations & Compliance:
-Assist with employee relations matters, ensuring the consistent application of fair and compliant practices across the organisation.
-Oversee compliance with workplace laws, including occupational health and safety (OHS), equal employment opportunity (EEO), and other statutory requirements.

Talent Acquisition & Development:
-Lead recruitment efforts, developing and executing strategies to attract and retain top talents, while managing the full employee life cycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
-Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and ensure effective talent acquisition strategies are in place.
-Coordinate the development and delivery of training and development programs to enhance employee skills, support career progression, and foster a learning culture.
-Assist managers with implementing performance management systems to improve employee retention and engagement throughout the employment life cycle.

HR Program Development:
-Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine HR recruitment and retention programs to meet organisational goals and address talent needs.
-Support the design and implementation of performance appraisal systems and employee development frameworks to drive business growth, improve employee performance, and increase engagement.
-Analyse HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and continuously improve HR processes, focusing on recruitment, retention, and employee satisfaction.

Workforce Planning & Organisational Development:
-Assist with workforce planning by identifying talent gaps, developing succession plans, and ensuring the business has the right skills to support growth.
