We are excited to offer multiple Permanent Part time positions for Support Workers throughout our supported independent living services.

About the Role

These positions are offered on a Permanent Part time basis, allowing for a flexible work schedule that can accommodate various personal commitments and lifestyles. Working days – Monday to Sunday.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Providing support to improve independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, medication, and personal care.

- Keeping customer records up to date using online systems.

- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.

- Assist in the development or implementation of care plans.

To Be Successful in This Role

You are punctual, friendly, non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. You are invested in providing the highest quality in disability services and are competent in working with people with a disability.

Requirements

- Appropriate certificate level qualification in Disability or Community Services/individual support or R equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry.

- Valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with the ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars and vans.

- Must be fit to undertake the physical requirements of customer support, including the capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted.

- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and other common systems.

Desirable

- Experience in disabilities, mental health conditions.

- Advanced knowledge of services and programs under NDIS.

- Understanding of Person-Centered Practices.
