Kingston Healthcare is hiring a Cook to join our dietary team and help serve up wholesome, heartwarming meals that nourish our residents and brighten their days. Whether you’re flipping pancakes for breakfast or simmering a fall soup for lunch, your role brings comfort, connection, and care to the table.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve well-balanced, delicious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines

- Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards

- Collaborate with the dietary team on seasonal menus, themed events, and special resident requests

- Help create an inviting mealtime experience for residents and their families

- Support overall kitchen operations, including food prep, portioning, and cleanup

- Show up with a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed

What You Bring to the Table

- Experience in food service or commercial kitchens is a plus—but we’ll train the right person

- Basic knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures

- A team-player mentality and a strong work ethic

- Passion for cooking and making others feel at home

- Reliability, attention to detail, and a sprinkle of creativity
