An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Vet Nurse (30 hours per week) to join our team at Kensington Vet Clinic, in the heart of the lovely and leafy Kensington community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-level patient care, alongside the ability to develop great working relationships.
At Kensington, we aim to provide a comprehensive, professional, and compassionate veterinary service. We're a tight knit team who recognise the significance of pets and the place they hold in a family. Our aim is to provide a friendly work environment with an emphasis on high standards of care and continuing education.
You will be supported by a team of highly trained and enthusiastic nurses and a clientele who truly value their pets.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective support to veterinarians in all aspects of veterinary nursing
- Maintain an excellent level of patient care and customer service at all times, treating every patient as if they were your own
- Maintain a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness in the hospital and kennel areas at all times
- Assist with reception and administration tasks as required
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and min 1-2 years’ veterinary nursing experience (junior nurses will also be considered)
- A keen desire to deliver excellent standards of patient care and customer service at all times
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A genuine love for animals and their people
- Working closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
