About the roles

Western Australia Health is midway through a five-year plan aimed at expanding and strengthening mental health services across the state. As part of this significant growth, additional skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrists are being sought to join dedicated teams working across both acute care and community-based settings.

A range of sub-specialties are available, including Adult, Child and Adolescent, Addiction, and Old Age Psychiatry, offering opportunities to tailor your career to your interests and expertise.

As a successful applicant, you will deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evidence-based treatments, supporting individuals experiencing complex physical, psychological, social, and behavioural challenges associated with acute and severe mental health conditions.
