Marian Centre

Both hospitals are just minutes apart, giving you the opportunity to work flexibly across two vibrant sites while being supported by experienced multidisciplinary teams. This salaried position is perfect for psychiatrists who want to focus on clinical care without the extra demands of running a private practice.

What you'll be doing

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you'll play a central role in providing high-quality inpatient care to voluntarily admitted patients while also supporting a strong referral network. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing new and ongoing inpatient and day program referrals
  • Conducting daily patient reviews and leading weekly MDT meetings
  • Collaborating with experienced peers and participating in shared coverage
  • Providing second opinions and assessments when needed
  • Ensuring best-practice standards and compliance with hospital policies

What we're looking for

  • Fellowship with RANZCP
  • Specialist registration with AHPRA
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or suitable visa
