About the Role

Hastings Deering is seeking a Payroll Administrator / Officer to join our award-winning team in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. This is a maternity leave cover for up to 12 months. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday.

As a Payroll Administrator / Officer, you will:

- Ensure tasks are completed with high accuracy and attention to detail, resulting in quality outcomes.
- Participate in and be responsible for the timely processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll runs.
- Apply knowledge of taxation and superannuation regulations.
- Process new starters, transfers, and terminations promptly.
- Maintain employee payroll data accurately and timely.
- Lead by example with appropriate workplace behaviors, maintaining a positive attitude when interacting with team members and colleagues.

About You

A successful candidate will have:

- Entry-level payroll experience.
- Completed Year 12.
- Good communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- The ability to work well within a team.
