International FMCG company PZ Cussons has an exciting opportunity for a commercially focussed and experienced Procurement professional to head up its Procurement team in ANZ, developing and executing the Procurement strategy.

The Role

A key member of the Supply Chain Leadership team the Senior Procurement Manager leads the Procurement team for ANZ to source all third party manufactured goods and indirect services.

This involves sourcing finished goods in our core Homecare & Baby Food categories across Australia, New Zealand, China, Europe and the US, as well as leading the sourcing of indirect services.

Reporting to the General Manager Supply Chain ANZ, you will:

- Negotiate contracts and conduct tenders
- Develop robust relationships with strategic supply partners through Supplier Relationship Management
- Lead the sourcing activity for New Product Development
- Improve the margin profile of existing products or services through reformulation or alternative sourcing
- Build the annual spend budget for the financial year ahead, provide monthly forecasting updates and reporting on progress throughout the year
- Improve ESG compliance to meet ANZ and Global targets

Qualifications and experience

- Tertiary Qualifications in a Business-related discipline
- Experience in Senior Procurement 3-5yrs or Commercial roles within Supply Chain
- Experience in the FMCG/Consumer Goods industry
