Global Procurement Manager

We are looking for a skilled Global Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading global and regional cross-functional teams in driving cost, quality, service, technology, and innovation efficiencies.

About the Job:

The Global Procurement Manager will report directly to the Senior Director, Global Procurement, and will be assigned certain Logistics categories, strategies, and projects to manage positive outcomes.

  • You will assist in or directly manage the development of category management, category strategies, region roadmap, cost saving initiatives, and global/regional sourcing projects with a focus on Logistics across Mattel.
  • You will partner with Finance and Logistics teams to accurately forecast annual category spend and align critical cost assumptions.
  • You will develop and lead supplier relationship management efforts focusing on top strategic suppliers.
  • You will continually review current contracts to ensure business is protected and identify procurement risks and opportunities.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that our company continues to gain momentum towards becoming a World Class Strategic Sourcing organization. You will drive operational efficiencies across the globe via sustainable cost discipline and revenue growth platforms.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong track record in building both internal and external relationships
  • Experience working closely with and frequently presenting to senior management
  • Financial acumen
  • Experience developing contract terms with legal
  • Strong ability to influence
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal/written skills
  • Working knowledge of Coupa CSO and Contracting Modules
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Power Point & Excel
  • Fluent in English
  • MBA (Business, Finance, and/or Operations/Supply Chain) and/or a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in the Supply Chain Sector.
