General Assistant – Hornsby High School

This role is vital to the maintenance and upkeep of departmental schools.

Remuneration

Annual salary range (pro rata for part‑time): $41,115.00 – $46,277.00 (full‑time, up to 20 years of age); $51,420.00 – $62,855.00 (full‑time, over 20 years of age). The total package includes employer superannuation and leave loading.

Responsibilities

- Assist with routine maintenance and upkeep of the school and grounds.

- Assist with the setup and removal of furniture and equipment for school activities.

- Identify and report maintenance and safety issues.

- Receive, store and distribute supplies and monitor equipment, reporting faults.

Qualifications

- Good planning and prioritising skills.

- Strong communication skills to work effectively with others.

- Ability to identify and manage potential hazards requiring maintenance.
