An exciting opportunity to join the incredible general medical nursing team on 9A at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH).

Where you/'ll be working
Ward 9A is a challenging and rewarding 30 bed capacity medical ward with General Medicine, Endocrinology, Pain Management and Immunology patients. You will be working within a multidisciplinary team focused on evidence based patient centred care, health promotion and early intervention, to promote a safe discharge home or transfer to the appropriate post-acute hospital care.
What you/'ll be doing
Provision of support to the nursing team in order to deliver a high standard of care to NSLHD patients.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
- Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
