Radiation Therapist – Icon Cancer Centre – Gold Coast

Join Icon’s largest radiation therapy team at Gold Coast Uni Hospital & Gold Coast Private Hospital. Expand your skill set across treatment and planning using our Varian eco‑system (TrueBeam, ARIA, Eclipse) & Elekta Versa HD to treat a variety of cancer types & presentations including stereotactic and SGRT (Align RT). Exposure to on‑site Clinical Trials via Icon Research. Competitive remuneration structure. 6‑Month contract – Full Time. Gold Coast QLD.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high‑quality, safe, patient‑centred clinical radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery services that comply with all relevant safety and quality standards.

- Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.

- Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.

- Exhibit a strong patient focus and treat all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality.

- Support a high‑performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient‑centric and collaborative approach.

Skills & Experience

- Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills that inspire the trust and confidence required to build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

- Demonstrated understanding of, and a commitment to, the delivery of high‑quality radiation therapy services.

- Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures.

- Understanding of the service delivery model within the private healthcare sector.

- Demonstrable capacity to work effectively and positively both independently, and as a member of the multidisciplinary team.

- Current AHPRA Registered Radiation Therapist with QLD Radiation Use Licence.
