Our Radiation Therapists are a key component of the multidisciplinary team who guide patients through their treatment journey. We provide the Statewide Brachytherapy service, External Beam Radiotherapy, seamless Varian planning to treatment and we use 2 Truebeam Linacs.

Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible. The successful applicant will also be part of an on-call roster. Fixed term hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Primary Purpose:
Carry out planning and treatment of patients with x-rays, electrons or radiation from sealed sources as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist.
Associated duties include patient care, general and technical administration.
Salary Range:
Base Salary:$85,011 per annum up to $127,700
- Appointment salary level will be based on experience
- Current salary range is in accordance with Radiation Therapists Agreement 2022
Market Allowance:10% Market Allowance in addition to your base salary
Superannuation:12% Superannuation is on top of the base salary and Market Allowance

- Registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.
