Who is TeamKids? TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.
Job Details: This permanent, part-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
Service Location: Rowville VIC, 3178. You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: BSC: 7am-9am, ASC: 2.45pm-6pm, Total hours: 26.25
The Role - Ready to Grow Your Leadership?
As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.
- Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies.
- Innovate with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
- Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
- Have Fun and play with primary school-aged children.
- Support ensuring your program is in compliance according to industry regulations.
The Successful Candidate
Ideally, you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a confident communicator, and a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude. You should also be passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children and possess a relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
