Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on expeirence in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location:

Hawthorn VIC, 3122

You'll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:

This is an afternoon service only
3pm-6pm
Total hours: 15

As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.

- Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies.

- Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.

- Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.

- Play and have FUN with primary school aged children.

- Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations.

The Successful Candidate:

- Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential — we can train you

- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart

- Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.

- Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.

- Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.

- Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN

- Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards. (Visit www.acecqa.gov.au for more info)
