About the role

Plan, coordinate and deliver high quality social work care to patients/clients of Calvary Health Care Kogarah consistent with Calvary, NSW Ministry of Health and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.

About you

- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Professional and Associated Staff Agreement 2022, eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers; demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
- Current drivers licence.
- Demonstrated core competency skills in social work.
- Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence-based practice, commensurate with years of experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to the use and application of professional and clinical digital technologies.
- Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement processes and teaching, commensurate with years of experience.
- Ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
