The HR Advisor will provide support to approximately 60+ employees in a fast-growing technology business under the guidance of the Head of People & Culture. You will be responsible for providing support throughout all stages of the employee life cycle as well as supporting and fostering our positive work culture.
Responsibilities
- Resourcing and recruitment; including advertising roles, sourcing, screening, reference checking and creation of employment contracts.
- On-boarding of new hires; including new hire forms, HRIS entry, develop and coordinate the onboard plan, arrangements for hardware and desk along with welcome messages.
- Everyday HR management; including keeping policies updated, managing leave, adjustment letters for staff, ensuring compliance with HR legislation, employee rewards, run social committees, updating organisation charts, position descriptions, track staff milestones (including work anniversaries), OH&S requirements.
- Administration of KPI reviews and Annual Performance Reviews; ensure all employees have clear KPI's communicated and documented each quarter. Ensure all employees have a performance review booked with their up-line manager in June each year.
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in HR, including recruitment, on-boarding and general HR administration
- Experience working in the technology industry, ideally with a technology distributor or in tech recruitment
- Understanding of HR legislation and regulations in Australia
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic and collaborative approach with the ability to interact with Directors and Senior Leaders
- Excellent organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
- Time management with the ability to juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
