Join Our Contaminated Land Team – Queensland

We’re looking for a Principal Contaminated Land Specialist to join our QLD team (Brisbane or regional hub). You’ll take the lead on contaminated land investigations, site remediation, and environmental risk strategy — working closely with our EPA-accredited Site Auditor and national CLM team.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leading contaminated land investigations (PSIs, DSIs, RAPs, validation)

- Managing field programs, contractors, and junior staff

- Overseeing data interpretation, reporting and recommendations

- Liaising with clients, auditors, regulators and internal teams

- Supporting regulatory approvals and stakeholder engagement

- Developing proposals and contributing to business development

- Mentoring junior consultants and building technical capability

What You’ll Need

- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or related field

- 15+ years of experience in contaminated land consulting in Australia

- Strong working knowledge of QLD and national legislation (EP Act, NEPM)

- Excellent writing, reporting and client communication skills

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to complex sites

- Desire to lead, mentor, and grow your technical influence
