About Us

Australian Ethical is one of Australia’s fastest-growing super fund and ethical investment managers. We are ASX-listed with over $14 billion in funds under management and offer a selection of award-winning managed funds and superannuation products.

Our purpose is to invest for a better world, and we have been pioneers in this space for almost 40 years. For us, investing has two aims – generating solid financial returns and a positive impact for people, planet, and animals. At Australian Ethical, we prove that money can be a force for good. We do this by staying true to our purpose, which is embedded throughout our organisation and drives our everyday activities as a business, investor, brand, employer, and corporate citizen. We’re a registered B Corp and fully committed to an inclusive, equitable and forward-thinking workplace culture.

Your New Role

As our SEO & Content Design Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering user focused digital experiences across websites, portals, mobile apps, and email. You’ll create clear, accessible content that improves member satisfaction and reduces support queries, while ensuring content is intuitive, inclusive, and aligned with user needs.

A core part of your role will be leading and implementing SEO strategy, covering keyword research, on-page optimisation, and performance tracking to drive organic growth and improve search visibility. You’ll also manage content architecture and the roadmap to ensure logical structure and scalability as our business evolves.

Key Responsibilities

UX-Driven Content Creation

- Craft clear, engaging, and actionable content using UX principles, SEO best practices, and copywriting expertise

- Write and structure content for web, app, email, and onboarding flows

- Collaborate with UI Lead to integrate content seamlessly into digital interfaces

- Own Help/FAQ content strategy to improve member experience and ensure accessibility

- Optimise content across digital touchpoints to improve engagement, retention, and conversion

- Use A/B testing, analytics, and user feedback to iterate and refine content

- Build and maintain a structured content system with reusable components

SEO Strategy & Implementation

- Develop and execute SEO initiatives to improve organic visibility and commercial impact

- Conduct keyword research, content gap analysis, and performance tracking

- Collaborate across teams to align SEO efforts with broader business goals

- Implement semantic HTML structures, URL strategies, and canonicalisation

- Monitor and report on SEO performance, making data-driven adjustments

Content Architecture & Findability

- Design scalable content architecture to support discoverability and usability

- Structure content to align with user journeys and platform capabilities

- Ensure effective tagging, categorisation, and indexing for internal and external search

What We’re Looking For

You’re a technically skilled and creatively driven content professional who thrives at the intersection of UX writing, SEO, and content architecture. You bring a deep understanding of digital content strategy, accessibility, and structured content systems, with a passion for crafting intuitive, inclusive, and discoverable user experiences. You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and excited by the challenge of making content both functional and engaging, while driving measurable impact across our digital ecosystem. If you have experience in the following, we’d love to hear from you:

- 3+ years in a similar role ideally in financial services/regulated industries and/or agency

- Track record of delivering measurable results through KPI driven performance and business impact

- Strong technical SEO skills, including schema, sitemaps, and indexation

- Proven experience in UX writing and information architecture

- Proficiency with tools like SEMrush, Google Search Console, Ahrefs

- Excellent writing, communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

- Relevant tertiary qualifications

- Alignment with our values: authenticity, action, connection, curiosity, and empathy

What’s in it for you

- A competitive salary, including short-term and long-term incentives including access to an Employee Share Plan

- Flexible work arrangements

- Wellbeing program that includes an extra 5 days of leave above statutory requirement

- Purpose aligned volunteer days

- 20 days paid annual leave with an additional 3 paid days of annual leave over the Christmas period
