The role

In response to a client request, Inverus Group is now hiring a Security Technical Officer (12-month contract with possible extension subject to client demand/approval) to form part of our client’s Corporate Security Team.

The Security Technical Officer will be fully embedded within a blue-chip, utilities sector client organisation located in Brisbane, Queensland. As an embedded resource, the Security Technical Officer will be managed and supervised daily by the clients’ corporate security team. The execution of all tasks and responsibilities will be as per their direction.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have 5+ years of security industry experience with a strong technical background in the design, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of enterprise level security systems including, but not limited to Inner Range SMS and Milestone VMS systems.

As someone who prides themselves on their technical knowledge, professionalism, integrity and interpersonal skills you will possess:

- 5+ year of security industry experience
- A passion for electronic security and ICT systems
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong research, problem solving and analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills

- Competitive salary of $100,000 to $125,000 including superannuation, annual leave and all other statutory employment benefits
