About the role

The Data Engineer designs, builds, and optimises data systems and Power BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making. They ensure the organisation can use real-time, connected data to improve health outcomes and business performance. Working closely with teams across the organisation, they integrate data and reporting capabilities into key systems and services.

- Provide expert advice and deliver data analysis and Power BI reporting solutions based on user requirements

- Assess the risk profile of data usage to ensure the proposed solutions fall within cohealth's risk appetite

- Undertake development activities across the full end-to-end development cycle and support using agreed practices consistent with maturing data quality assurance

- Support the definition and implementation of cohealth's Business Intelligence and Data Governance strategy and roadmap
