The role focuses on expanding and optimising St John of God Health Care’s data pipelines and architecture, with an emphasis on improving data flow, performance, and integration across cross-functional teams.**The Position*** Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load structured data from multiple source systems into a scalable enterprise data warehouse.* Develop and optimise data workflows using SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), ensuring reliability and performance.* Improve the efficiency, scalability, and quality of data processes through automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.* Work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to gather, clarify, and prioritise data requirements.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet operational and analytical reporting needs.* Create and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and support guides.* Ensure all solutions follow best practices for testing, version control, change management, and data governance.* Monitor and maintain system availability and performance.* Provide after-hours support as required for critical data systems and scheduled deployments.You must have extensive experience writing and optimising complex SQL queries and demonstrated technical expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Analysis Services (SSAS).
