Overview

As an Account Manager within our Concrete and Quarries business, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers around Gladstone, Rockhampton and Mackay. You will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful delivery of Boral’s concrete and aggregate products and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers in within the region.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth across the region.
- Provide expert advice on our range of products and services, ensuring the right solutions for our customers.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the efficient delivery of products and services to customers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop effective strategies.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Requirements

- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the concrete, quarries or related industries.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work autonomously.
- A full driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region. Occasional overnight travel will be required.
- A commitment to safety and environmental standards.
