Exciting opportunity for a Clinical Coordinator to join the Pregnancy Assessment Clinic at the Launceston General Hospital. Help coordinate the day-to-day patient care activities of the Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (PAC) including identifying and implementing the processes for admission, transfers and discharge of PAC patients.

The Maternity Unit, Launceston General Hospital:

- The Launceston General Hospital (LGH) is the major referral hospital in Northern Tasmania.
- As a Registered Midwife you will be part of the team that delivers approximately 1,600 newborn babies each year. With a 6 bed Labour Ward, 28 bed Maternity and 9 bed Special Care Unit your work will be fast paced and very rewarding.

The Role:

This role coordinates the day-to-day patient care activities of the Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (PAC) including identifying and implementing the processes for admission, transfers and discharge of PAC patients. Effectively managing the patient flow of the PAC, including monitoring of complex pregnancies in collaboration with the Interprofessional Team .

- Permanent part-time role, relocation allowance may be available for the right applicant.

Details of appointment:

Permanent part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 40 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:$106,570 to $112,440 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

- Salary range is in accordance withNurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type

Salary Packaging:

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and a Registered Midwife
- Current Working with Children Registration
