About A2B At A2B Australia, we connect people to places — delivering safe, reliable, and seamless transport from booking to payment. Our brands include 13cabs, Silver Service, Cabcharge, Spotto, and Giraffe Payments, supported by over 11,000 drivers and 7,000 vehicles across Australia. From dispatch and navigation to payment systems, we design and deliver technology that keeps Australia moving — reliably, securely, and seamlessly. We are proud to be part of ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia, one of the country’s largest transport groups.

Why This Role Matters We are seeking a Mobile Application Developer to join our technology team on a 9-month maternity leave cover. You’ll work on A2B’s In-Vehicle Payment platform — an essential mobile app used by thousands of professional drivers daily. You’ll be part of an agile, collaborative team that designs, builds, and maintains mobile applications connecting the physical and digital worlds of transport payments.

What You’ll Do

- Develop and maintain mobile applications for In‑Vehicle Payments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

- Work primarily in .NET MAUI/Xamarin and C# across Android platforms, with occasional support for Kotlin and C++ components.

- Collaborate closely with backend and cloud teams to integrate with Azure, SDKs, REST APIs, and external devices.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and code reviews to continuously improve delivery quality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.

- Contribute ideas for UI/UX enhancements and future roadmap improvements.

About You You’re a skilled and pragmatic mobile developer with a passion for building smooth, high‑performing applications that make a tangible impact on people’s daily lives.

Essential:

- 5+ years of mobile development experience

- Strong experience with .NET MAUI / Xamarin and C#

- Solid understanding of Android architecture and performance optimisation

- Exposure to REST APIs, SDK integration, and Azure services

- Experience working in Agile development environments

- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Desirable:

- Experience with Kotlin or Bluetooth integration

- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps

- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks

Why You’ll Love Working Here

- Hybrid work – 3 days in office, 2 days from home

- Learning and development opportunities

- Caring and collaborative team environment

- FLARE employee benefits & recognition programs

- Paid parental leave above NES

- Employee Assistance Program

- Fresh fruit, breakfast condiments, and quality coffee provided onsite

Join Us This is a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful technology used by thousands of Australians every day — while contributing to a company that values care, collaboration, and innovation.

Apply today and help us shape the future of transport and payments at A2B.
