About the Role
The State Manager plays a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving the growth, performance, and strategic direction of our Diagnostic Imaging network within NSW and ACT. As part of the national senior leadership team, you’ll oversee multiple sites, lead high-performing teams, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and financially sustainable imaging services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute and people-focused leader to make a meaningful impact across a dynamic and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of state and site-level business plans aligned with national strategy.
- Drive business growth through marketing initiatives, referral engagement, and operational excellence.
- Oversee financial and commercial performance, ensuring targets for revenue, profitability, and cost control are achieved.
- Champion patient care and service excellence, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality imaging services.
- Implement effective quality, safety, and risk management processes in line with regulatory standards.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop site and operations managers, fostering a high-performance and values-driven culture.
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across teams and sites.
About You
You are a strategic and operational leader with a proven record of success in a healthcare or service-based organisation. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing commercial imperatives with clinical quality and patient experience.
You’ll bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in a commercial environment, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in business growth, financial management, and operational leadership.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and change management
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and act on financial performance data.
- Proven experience leading large, diverse teams across multiple sites.
- Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of diagnostic imaging or broader healthcare services (desirable).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Health Services (desirable).
