# **About This Opportunity**As the **Senior Principal Consultant, HR Projects and Governance**, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of transformation initiatives that enhance service delivery, embed best practice, and support a culture of continuous improvement across the HR portfolio. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll provide trusted advice, lead complex projects from concept to completion, and ensure our governance frameworks enable the HR function to operate effectively and efficiently.If you thrive on leading meaningful change, influencing at a strategic level, and turning ideas into action, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference**Key responsibilities will include**:* Oversee the end-to-end delivery of strategic HR initiatives, ensuring projects are executed effectively from planning through to implementation and evaluation.* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing expert advice, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.* Identify and mitigate project risks, ensure alignment with HR policies and regulatory requirements, and drive change management initiatives to support successful project adoption.* Conduct research and data analysis to inform HR project decisions, leveraging industry trends and best practices to enhance project outcomes.* Contribute to HR governance activities, procedures, and practices to align with regulatory requirements and internal controlsThis is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months at HEW Level 8.# **About You*** Demonstrated success in leading complex HR projects within large or matrixed organisations.* Strong understanding of HR processes, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels* Proven analytical and problem-solving capability, using data and insights to inform decisions and continuous improvement.* Exceptional organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.* A proactive and outcomes-focused approach, with a passion for driving meaningful change and enhancing HR service delivery.The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply.
